U-Trainer set for brass players, The U-Trainer Set contains two devices for optimal embouchure training. On the one hand the U-Trainer for a strong embouchure: Anyone who wants to play a brass instrument must learn the art of special lip tension and train it regularly. This is because the tone is made possible by the embouchure muscles, which oppose the flowing air stream in the mouthpiece cup. Different tensions trigger different pitches. The mouth ring muscle of a brass player is therefore particularly challenged. And the better it is trained, the easier it is to play, the better the control, and the more freedom there is for artistic expression. The U-Trainer® specifically builds up and strengthens the mouth ring muscle. Regular training prevents embouchure fatigue and promotes enjoyment of the instrument. On the other hand, the U-Trainer®Point for more centering and sensitivity. To regulate the pitches on a brass instrument, intermuscular coordination of the chin, cheeks and mouth ring muscle is necessary. This centers the airflow. The necessary centering increases with increasing pitches. This requires a high sensitivity of the player to the immediate vibrating part of the mouth ring muscle. The more sensitive the embouchure, the easier it is to react to the flowing air stream in a vibration-triggering manner and to produce the desired tones. The U-Trainer®-Point sensitizes the embouchure and thus promotes the coordinated cooperation of all embouchure muscles.
