SOUNDFRESH Controlfreak, tool for controlling embouchure, lip position and airflow. In cooperation with trumpet player Rüdiger Baldauf, Georg Selders has developed the Controlfreak. The Controlfreak is a tool that makes embouchure and lip position visually clear. A second, even more important function is the control of a centered airflow. The Contrlfreak can make it audibly clear to every player whether the air really flows centered into the mouthpiece, i.e. ultimately into the trumpet, or whether it only enters the instrument bundled through the cup. A hit is documented sound-technically by a clear hiss. If the airflow is not centered, the noise does not occur.
