This model is made from fabric and comes with a 24K gold-plated metal plate.The ligature offers reed contact with metal plate only which directly results in a rich, full tone in every register. Due to the metal plate offering direct reed contact, it allows the musician to articulate easier. This particular ligature is only compatible for the Eb-altosaxophone mouthpiece, and is also an excellent ligature for the soloist
