REKA-Drop Stop Set for trumpet-valves The REKA Drop Stop Set is suitable for all trumpet models and prevents dripping from the valves and thus also stains the pants and shirt. The oil-saliva mixture collects in the lower valve covers and can cause tough running properties of the valve, or block the valve completely in the long run. The Drop Stop plates soak up the mixture, preventing valve dripping and blockage. To insert the plates, unscrew the lower valve cover and place the plate inside. The cover is then screwed back onto the valve. The Drop Stop plates should be changed every 2-3 months for hygienic reasons. One packing unit contains 12 Drop Stop plates.
