BACH-Cornet-Mouthpiece No 8B, depth of cup: medium deep, cup diameter Ø 16.20, rim shape: fairly wide with slightly flatter surface than No.7B, rounded inner edge the same cup as No. 7B: full in the low and middle registers, responds easily on high tones warm, rich sound well suited for all-around use, but with a rim that players with protruding teeth find more comfortable. These mouthpieces were developed by Vincent Bach during the past 50 years in order to match all imaginable requirements.
