JK-EXCLUSIVE mouthpiece for baroque trumpet 6C, rim diameter: 27.4mm, kettle diameter: 16.6mm Motivated by the strong trend towards true-to-original performances, we have been asked frequently for mouthpieces for Baroque instruments that are true to the original. During extensive tests, however, it has finally turned out that many brass players face serious difficulty with the original rim contours. For this reason, we have copied old original mouthpieces in detail with regard to cup, bore and back bore designs for the JK models of Baroque trumpets and Baroque trombones. This way an optimum sound result is achieved. Only the rim contour has been slightly modified to answer the needs of todays wind players.
