BOB REEVES Trumpet Mouthpiece 43/SV 692s Backbore, Inner diameter: 17.066mm, rim shape: medium round with soft inner rim, very flat conical V-shaped cup, the 43 rim is functionally similar to the Bach 2 3/4 C, 3, 3E, 3F and Schilke 16 rims. The 692s is an efficient backbore mouthpiece that is shorter than a conventional length mouthpiece. In combination with shallow cups, it projects with ease, making it a popular choice for lead players. When combined with very deep shells (like a B shell), it allows for darkness in the sound of the shell while still supporting in the upper register.
