BOB REEVES Trumpet Mouthpiece 40/SV 692 Backbore, Inner Diameter: 16.272 mm, Rim Shape: Semi-flat with a moderately sharp inner rim, very shallow conical V-shaped cup. The 40 rim is functionally similar to the Bach 10 1/2C, 11 3/4C, 17, and Schilke 6 rims. With its 692 backbore, it has a darker and fuller sound than the 69 backbore, yet still with a clearly defined core. The 692 is ideal for powerful players who do not prefer the efficiency of smaller backbores, as well as for players with narrower instruments.
