Product Description "BACH-Bb/F-Tenor-Trombone Stradivarius 42AFG, with Infinity Axial-Flow Valve"
BACH-B/F tenor trombone Stradivarius 42AFG, Infinity Axial-Flow valve , -open wrap-, .547 Inch large bore, 8-1/2 Inch one-piece hand-hammered gold brass bell, chrome plated nickel-silver inner handslide tubes, brass outer handslide tubes, mouthpiece Bach 6 1/2A, lacquered. V. Bach has developed a new, patented -Axial Flow Valve- and brought it to production maturity. It is very similar to the Thayer valve, the advantages in sound and radiation especially in the low register are identical. Only the technical implementation is much better. Due to the double-sided guidance by ball bearings, the large valve body moves amazingly easily and almost noiselessly. Another optimization is that the valve bend is now further away from the neck of the trombonist and thus no longer presses annoyingly on the neck.
