BOB REEVES Trumpet Mouthpiece 43.5/B 692s backbore, inner diameter: 17.264mm, rim shape: medium round with soft inner rim, deep and cylindrical bowl (similar to Bach 7B), the 42 rim is functionally similar to Bach Elkhart 3C & 6C, Bach 8C, 10B, and Schilke 14 rims. The 692s is an efficient backbore mouthpiece that is shorter than a conventional length mouthpiece. Combined with shallow cups, it projects with ease, making it a popular choice for lead players. When combined with very deep shells (like a B shell), it allows for darkness in the sound of the shell while still supporting in the upper register.
