SCHILKE trumpet mouthpiece No. 18C3D Cup Ø 17.52 Similar to No. 18, but with a larger \"d\" rebate, produces a large symphonic Volume. as it is preferred in German orchestras. As is generally known, the diameter of the shank of a cornet is smaller than that of a trumpet. Most Schilke models are available for both the trumpet and cornet. In general, a slightly larger cup and throat favors the cornet tone.
