PERANTUCCI tuba mouthpiece -SOUSAPOWER 3- , cup Ø 32. 00mm, cup depth: medium deep in proven Perantucci pear shape, rim: 7.5mm (medium flat, well rounded), bore: 8.6mm (low resistance), shank design: narrow Perantucci S-shank Ø = 14.8 mm. SOUSAPOWER mouthpieces can be blown freely and have a very resonant sound. These characteristics are evident in the middle and low registers. In the upper middle and upper register, the resistance remains low and appears unconventional at first glance. This also continues in the high register. Reduced pressure allows for a stronger airflow in an area where many mouthpieces clog. Once the functional advantages are realized, the upper middle and high registers of most instruments are more accessible while maintaining fine tone quality over a wider range. A unique balance between cup shape, neck and backbore dimensions ensures excellent intonation. The sound energy produced by the player is enhanced by these new mouthpieces.
