DENIS WICK Cornet Mouthpiece 5281U 3C -Ultra-, silver-plated, cup diameter: 16.75mm, cup depth: standard, rim width: 5.27mm, bore: 3.80mm, similar to Bach 3C. The 3C is slightly larger than the Bach 3c and therefore has a wider tone and a stronger projection. This mouthpiece is ideal for brass bands. Denis Wick has used the popular American Classic size as the basis for the Ultra mouthpiece. While the sizing is the same as the American Classic, the Ultra mouthpiece has additional mass in the upper part of the mouthpiece which helps in projection and provides a slightly different tonal response and color than the American Classic.
