DENIS WICK Cornet Mouthpiece 5281U 7C -Ultra-, silver-plated, cup diameter: 16.25mm, cup depth: standard, rim width: 5.22mm, bore: 3.80mm, similar to Bach 7C. The 7C has a focused and centered tone and is ideal for working at the microphone and in the studio or for playing through amplifiers. It has an easy response in the high register. Denis Wick has used the popular American Classic size as the basis for the Ultra mouthpiece. While the sizing is the same as the American Classic, the Ultra mouthpiece has additional mass in the upper part of the mouthpiece which helps in projection and provides a slightly different tonal response and color than the American Classic.
