While maintaining the tonal characteristics of the Series II, it offers improved intonation, particularly in the upper register, and favors emission in the lower register, through a redesigned bore of the S-bow. The model benefits from the latest innovations of the Supreme saxophone from Henri SELMER Paris: a new 3-point S-bow recording with a tension ring made of nickel silver for better sound homogeneity and sound density as well as an octave mechanism mounted on Teflon. The body and bell are decorated with an engraving in the Art Deco style as a homage to centuries-old instrument making techniques that are passed down from generation to generation in the SELMER factory in Mantes-la-Ville.
