Martin Seibold Tone Stabilizer TSE-12, silver plated, suitable for Tubas with Rotary Valves. The Seibold Tone Stabilization Unit (TSE) is the essential upgrade for all brass instruments with Perinet or rotary valves. By attaching directly to the valve bodies, the TSE acts where the instruments physical precision determines success or failure: at the heart of sound production. The response becomes more direct, and the tonal center locks in noticeably more cleanly. Unstable frequencies within the body are eliminated, resulting in a purer and more robust sound. Especially in the high register and during rapid valve changes, the TSE provides a noticeable resistance that gives the tone more stability. By strategically weighting the valve group, the instrument vibrates in a more controlled manner, which expands the dynamic range toward the upper register.
