MIRAPHONE TU-43 Tuba Mouthpiece The new TU-43 tuba mouthpiece expands the Miraphone lineup. This mouthpiece is particularly well-suited for large B-flat and C contrabass tubas. An optimal balance of shank size, back bore, and corresponding bell depth ensures a centered response with a large, round sound volume. The larger shank diameter measures 13.6 mm instead of 13.3 mm. The exterior shape features a slightly modified, new design. The mouthpiece is included as standard with the new -Hagen- 496 and -Hagen- 497 tuba models.
