SCHILKE-Trompeten mouthpiece No. 14A4a Cup Ø 17.09 \"Artist\" -model - Designed for Forrest Buchtel, former trumpeter in the Woody Herman Tape. The flat A-Cup, the semi-flat rim as well as the close back bore allow a good high register. As is generally known, the diameter of the shank of a cornet is smaller than that of a trumpet. Most Schilke models are available for both the trumpet and cornet. In general, a slightly larger cup and throat favors the cornet tone.
