Description

VANDOREN B40 Lyra HD Clarinet Mouthpiece, Instrument: B-flat clarinet, Material: high-density ebonite, opening: medium-open (1.175 mm), facing length: long, Chamber: standard, Musical style: Classic-All-Around. HD Ebonite is a high-density ebonite manufactured exclusively for Vandoren. This material is the result of years of research and development by Vandoren. Its physical properties enhance the natural acoustic qualities of our standard ebonite while optimizing the players experience and feel. The projection is excellent. The sound is full-bodied and rich across the entire range of the clarinet. Articulation is easy and precise. The musician enjoys greater control and comfort regardless of dynamics. HD Ebonite is 100% natural and certified non-toxic. It complies with the strict European Directive EU2009/48/EC, Annex II, Part III, just like all music-grade standard ebonites that Vandoren has been using for nearly a century.
