Paetzold by Kunath basset recorder Master 452, -HP-Original-, cherry wood, incl. case. Paetzold by Kunath recorders are played with the baroque fingering and are fully keyed. This allows ergonomical and easy playing with excellent sound characteristics. The master models of Paetzold by Kunath instruments are made of birch plywood or cherry solid wood. Cherry wood is a lightweight wood that is popular in recorder manufacture. The weight of the instrument is it`s biggest advantage due to the low wood density of 0.63 g/cm3. The texture of the cherry wood gives the instrument a warm and mature sound qualities.
