SOUNDFRESH Controllfreak
SOUNDFRESH Controlfreak, tool for controlling embouchure, lip position and airflow. In cooperation with trumpet player Rüdiger Baldauf, Georg Selders has developed the Controlfreak. The Controlfreak is a tool that makes embouchure and lip position visually clear. A second, even more important function is the control of a centered airflow. The Contrlfreak can make it audibly clear to every player whether the air really flows centered into the mouthpiece, i.e. ultimately into the trumpet, or whether it only enters the instrument bundled through the cup. A hit is documented sound-technically by a clear hiss. If the airflow is not centered, the noise does not occur.

Während des Spielens können Sie mit Hilfe eines Spiegels sehr gut Ihren Ansatz und das Lippenverhalten im Kessel beobachten und verbessern. Gebrauchsanweisung: Sie setzen den Ansatzprüfer auf das Instrument wie ein normales Mundstück. Nehmen Sie die richtige Haltung mit Instrument ein und setzen Sie locker an, damit die Oberlippe gut schwingen kann. Nun erzeugen Sie summende Töne (wie eine Biene). Durch Bewegung des Instruments nach oben versuchen Sie die Luftströmung durch genauere Treffsicherheit ins Instrument zu bringen.
