Description
MELTON-F-Cimbasso 41, 5 rotary valves, bore: 18,5mm / .728 Inch, bell Ø: 27cm / 10.6 Inch, 2nd valve trigger (left hand operated), yellow brass, clear-lacquered. The Cimbasso was originally an Italian Band instrument (along with valve trombones and bombardini). Verdi and Puccini are the most notable composers who were inspired to include parts for the Cimbasso in their operas. Due to the cylindrical taper the Cimbasso blends well with trombones.
