The brilliant, radiant sound of this trumpet was designed with the sound of the legendary American studio and big bands trumpeters in mind. This new model has everything a professional trumepter needs: a one-piece hand made bell for great projection, high-quality monel valves and slide stops on the first and third valves. The ML bore and the brass thickness of 0.5 mm offers a compact feel. The easy blowing, but carrying sound is achieved with a Scodwell yellow brass leadpipe. Tony Scodwell worked with us on the design of this leadpipe. In his 40 year career Tony played lead trumpet in the bands of Harry James, Tommy Dorsey, Doc Severinsen and Frank Sinatra. During the 1970s he performed with nearly every big act in Las Vegas. The Las Vegas model comes with an original Schagerl Superior Trekking Case and Schagerl mouthpiece.
