SCHERZER 8228S Bb trumpet in gold brass with trigger, silver-plated

Description

SCHERZER 8228 Bb trumpet in gold brass with trigger, silver-plated. Developed in close collaboration with Helmut Fuchs (Staatskapelle Dresden, Phil Blech Wien), this new J. Scherzer 8228 Bb trumpet model differs from other J. Scherzer models-which follow the \Cologne" style-by aligning more closely with the leaner Austrian tonal tradition, offering a distinctive character and a more robust, solid sound. At piano dynamics, the new J. Scherzer sounds like a rich, full-bodied Bb trumpet when pushed, it purrs without ever threatening to break up-the sound remains compact and highly malleable, brilliant yet never piercing. Technical specifications: Gold brass, bell diameter: 13 cm, bore: 11.2 mm, trigger on 3rd valve slide, 2 interchangeable leadpipes (sterling silver "ST" leadpipe: brilliant, easy upper register brass "MS" leadpipe: quick response in the low register), lightweight construction."
