Was sind eigentlich Holzblasinstrumente?
Als Holzblasinstrumente werden alle Instrumente bezeichnet, deren Ton mittels eines Holzmundstückes oder eines Rohrblattes erzeugt werden. Dies betrifft die Blockflöte, die Klarinette, das Saxophon, die Oboe und das Fagott. Eine Ausname in dieser Instrumentengruppe ist die Querflöte, obwohl das Kopfstück und die Mundlochplatte aus Metall sind, wird dieses Instrument aufgrund seiner Mechanik zu der Kategorie der Holzblasinstrumente gezählt.
